Methane Bubbles in slow motion

I managed to "borrow" a HD slow motion camera and filmed a series of classic Physics/Chemistry demonstrations using it. The link here is to the "methane bubble" experiment where a tower of bubbles of methane gas burn down towards my hand. In slow motion it looks quite nasty - however the whole combustion was over in 1/5 of a second and so my hand remained perfectly fine!

On the same youtube channel I have also recorded videos of collisions. explosions, rockets and musical instruments.
